The correct spelling is a nipponese kanji. I've seen many english
translations; I like "nunchaku", myself.

They are flails. Whips / flails was one skill concentration in Sr2, so
whip skill would likely cover using nunchucks in Sr3. Maybe they will cover
this in "The Cannon Companion."

:2) What would they do for damage?

About the same as a club. Maybe str+2 m (stun) instead.

:3) Can they entangle? Is that just a movie thing? If they could, what
:would one use for the test, a Called Shot?


They would be good for subduing combat (if Sr3 still had that). Yes,
I'd say you could make a called shot to entangle; that is about the same as
subduing in Sr2.
