Not at all. The skill for nunchaku is as independant from unarmed as any
other armed combat weapon. At least. I would even be reluctant to allow
defaulting at the same penalty for nunchaku, because it is so different.
Unlike the sword, which is a continuation of your arm, and a logical one at
that. The nunchaku do not move in a way that is logical, at first, and the
sword does. That makes it much easier for someone who can swing their
fists to swing a sword, and the corrolation doesn't apply as well with
nunchaku.
I would not use clubs, though. I don't have the book in front of me, but
someone said that whips and flails are in the same group. I would allow
that, or create a special combat skill of Nunchaku.
