Also, an option would be to have the polis go after them, but not all at
once, and not regularly. Have it be your back-up 'I gotta get them in a
firefight. Hmmm. What do I throw at them? Dzoonooqua? Bombadiers? Oh!
The Polis!' Just enough to annoy them regularly, but not enough to kill
them. At least for a while, and then it could become a big 'war' between
the runners and the polis, with an ultimate battle, and blah blah blah.

It also doesn't have to get to that point. Like someone else said, lock up
the bitten one, and kill the head guy. Give the group help if they need
it, or not. Whatever. remember the guy playing the bitten character will
be really bored at the games if you have him locked up and he can't do
anything, so make the resolution happen fast, let him sit out a few
sessions, or let him become a vampire, and maybe his team will see that he
can be a vamp and their friend . . . <shrug>
