] scenario in which the characters (preferably characters that spend little
] or no time outside the plex) are sent to a remote wilderness town to
] discover what they can about the local legends (ie. Blair Witch). Make the
] characters feel like the stories are nothing more than mere stories, until
] they go into the woods.
The thing is, in a Shadowrun adventure, they're not going to think
anything is "just a story." So the key becomes making them think
they've got the real story behind the story figured out (it's a folk
tale about a grave-robbing, corpse-eating creature, so it must really
be a ghoul or two), then hit them with the truth (it's something
completely different that might actually scare them).
