I like seeing the metric system. I don't understand why we don't use
it in the US. I have an okay feel for what a meter and a centimeter is
but, the way I describe a kilometer shows my Imperial roots (I say
'5/8 of a mile'.)

I think anything that is going to hit any shelves but the US should
definitely use the metric system.
