Or how's this for a horrifying idea -- i don't think that the folks
at FASA are taking it in that direction, but it's horrifying just the same.

What if the folks in Aztlan *do* have a Locus? Blood Magic starts falling
out of vogue because Pattern magic is so much more efficient, and the world,
seeing the blood mages fall into disgrace, thinks that nothing worse will
come out of Aztlan...
