What is wrong with Jeffs artwork ? OK I can agree on that there is a
hmm slightly higher wart factor in his work than in others, atleast
in the clipart or small pictures inside books. But if you look at
cover like Threats and NAN2 (which he drew) there are no warty orcs,
dragons or bugs ...

Other possible answers is that well if I am not wrong he does live in
Chicago and works at FASA so why not use there inhouse talent ? ok
there are a bunch of other talented artist around to but I don't see
what is so wrong about Jeff.

I dont know about working for FASA, but lots of the newer Magic TG
cards are
illustrated by Jeff Laubenstein. Doing a good job of it too...
