I noticed several people commenting on this, and know where the confusion
stems from. I was misinterpreted it when I read the following setence too,
and _all_ of my players made the same mistake. I only knew it wasn't true
because I've been playing SR for 10 years now, read it again, and then saw
the confusing part:

From SR3, page 32: "The amendment made species other than homo sapiens
eligible for - you guessed it - probationary citizenship."

Most people forget that metahumans are also homo sapiens.
