*Sniff*
I'd buy a reasonably priced hardcover of the core book. I mean I always
have to lug my softcover to school, my friend's houses, etc and it gets
destroyed in the process! No matter how careful I am with bookcovers and
telling all my friends not to bend the spine too much, it eventually falls
prey to wear and tear. I think most role-players bring their core books
to places with them and then there's a crowd who only buys the book for
pleasure reading.
If any FASA folks are reading, I think there most definitely is a market
for the hardcovers.
