Gosh! How do you aim at something 1000 km away? Surely the curvature
of the earth gets in the way of your line of sight? And how do you deal
with upper atmosphere winds and turbulence (given that the bullet would
have the sort of trajectory usually associated with sub-orbital
passenger flights). Also, how do you ensure that the target will stand
still so that he's still in front od the bullet when it finally gets
there?
