I agree.
My take is this:
Dont play a game where the players can get hurt (mentally, emotionally or
otherwise).
I refuse to play in games where rape is involved. (unless I get to brutally butcher
the rapist... and often not even then). I dont like playing in games where there is
sucide or occult things roleplayed realistically by pc's (no offence to anyone who
does, but I dont want to play magic that way).
Ive had some of these things happen to friends or relatives and that ended up
hurting me a lot.. and I refuse to bring up in a game those memories.. Roleplaying
is something to do because you enjoy it - and those memories are anything but
enjoyable.
Id walk out permenantly on any GM who knew I had problems with the above and still
went ahead and played them anyway.
