The only problem with that, IMO Hunter, is that not only is the character in
question still improving his general odds at succeeding at a target number,
s/he (it?) is bending the base to the odds even more in their favor. We've
tinkered with this idea with some of our characters here in the past, and
decided that it was just flat out...too much.
