My bad.

But taking that back to my discussion with AK404, that evens things out
even more, because a physad with rifle 6 and 6 improved skill dice will
have a maximum aim modifier of -3, plus -2 for the power, for a total
of -5. Plus a smartlink, -7. If you're not using the "either-or"
concept I just suggested.

An equivalent mundy sniper (assuming that the adept is an advanced
character, not some munchkin who's totally overpowered their shooting
ability) would likely have put enough karma in to get a rifle skill of
8 or 9 - if not more. Assume 8. That's a maximum of -4 for aiming. Plus
a smartlink makes it -6. Only one worse that the adept - or with the
"either-or", one better.

Again, not unbalancing. IMO.

Anyway, you can play with the numbers and the examples as much as you
want and prove pretty much anything. Why not just give it a try? If you
feel like it, of course.
