When this all first started with the line in MitS, I e-mailed Steve and he
said that it was added later in editing and was probably incorrect or a bad
choice of words. Then Mike said that it *was* correct and that you could get
the two Power Points. Steve was probably advising you from that ruling.
As it stands now, as of last night after 10pm Eastern time, Magician Path
Adepts either choose a metamagic or get the Power Point from their
initiation. Logs are available from those in attendance, and you can always
e-mail Mike if you doubt the ruling.
Mike told us last night that after two months of testing the "Two Power
Points at once" system he decided that, quote, "I must have been on crack
when I wrote it." I suggested he switch to heroin to avoid such troubles.
Just look how nicely it does for me? :-)
