This is Mike -
(of couse you may not beleive me but I am me honest)
It was hashed out over GenCon with me making the final call on the fact that
you have to choose metamagical ability or power point everytime. This will
get clarifed in future editions of MITS and placed on our web page as an
errata/FAQ.
It just balances better this way.
