You know, the response to this particular query is sorta funny. Three
people suggested checking the website, and two others actually posted
some info from it.
Used to be if you wanted to research something obscure for your game,
you'd have to stop by the public library. Now, there's just so much
info on the web, it's a lot easier to add in RL details like this.
Then there was the other thread today, where someone posted the URL
for a company that sells facial compositing software like the kinds
that law enforcement agencies use. Of course, gamers who buy this
have a different purpose, character portraits.
Need an apartment floorplan quick? Just check the listings on
apartments.com, there are tons of floorplans available.
A question for everyone: what everyday non-gaming websites do you use
for gaming purposes?
