Well, drugs are never mentioned in SR (a huge oversight IMHO), but I imagine
BTLs being on the level of marijuana, with 2XS and Dreamchips being more on
your heroin/cocaine level. Of course, this is an imperfect comparison, as we
have no stats for these chips.

Yes and no. A true addict doesn't worry about cost. However, there are a lot
of substances out there that are a LOT better than heroin and cocaine (to
use two examples) but are so expensive no one can afford them. On the other
hand, there are drugs with good highs, but such drastic side effects that
seriously outweigh the positives (PCP being one). It's all on an individual
basis.
And besides, would you buy your first hit of heroin knowing that the cost
was $200? Hopefully not.
