Why not? Dealers don't buy them at Street price, because they'd have to jack
them up (Bad pun - sorry) and then no one could afford them. I've always
assumed that Street Index is for the guy on the street, not his supplier,
not his supplier, or the distributor above that. The fixer that applies
Street Index is covering his expenses for getting the item for you, making a
profit, etc. Of course, he doesn't look in the Wall Street Journal to find
today's Street Index, but it's a nice approximation for gaming.
And if you don't apply Street Index to BTLs, then why give a .5 for Bug
City? Obviously, FASA intended this to be done.
