Interviews with defecting fUSSR officers, notably Viktor Suvorov. The
Soviets also used the Red Cross to mark medical personnel and equipment,
but nowhere in their training or their field manuals was it said that the
Red Cross was to be accorded any sort of protected status. ('Spetznaz' by
Suvorov contains his more detailed description)

(The fUSSR was never much into the LOAC anyway, though...)
