Not very good instructions, now that I think about it.
OK, sit comfortably, and take the clensing breaths. Hold your hand out at
full length, with your fingers spread, in a directionother than towards
your monitor. Open your eyes quickly and focus on a point that is about a
foot past your hand, looking between your fingers.
It won't be super distinct, nor vary big (unless you have training or "a
natural"), which is the reason that this works best at the start under dim
natural light (stars and half moon or less).
I won't tell you what it looks like for most poeple becuase I don't want
to get psychology-based false-positives.
