Yeah, I did that about a week ago, and I got more attitude than facts. [But,
to the people who provided facts, thank you hansomely.]
So, I was unconvinced...until one day...

Thank you, Marc. This was exactly what I was looking for. My GM is a
hard-ass SR2 fan in the vein of Jacob Machinov, and since he's a smart
stubborn guy, it's tough to convince him of why I should be allowed to play
SR3.
This information will be indispensible to me. This is what I needed. I don't
know if it'll help, but I think it just might have convinced me, and that's
a good step toward convincing him.
Oh, and since all this gushing kindness is a bit out of character...here.
