Ah, but Magic Resistance is a two-edged sword: you are resistant to
magic, period (sort of like a negamage, or whatever it was called).
Sure, you [involuntarily] resist than Force 6 Powerball coming your
way, but it also means you [involuntarily] resist that Force 6 Treat
coming your way when you really need it. That's what the Magic
Resistance Edge is; I believe the adept power of the same name (??) is
more flexible.
