quit because I didn't need the list anymore.
A couple months ago we started playing again. My GM got 3rd edition
ShadowRun, and we started playing again, using our old character.
I didn't lik it that much when we started. My character is a Sammy with
Wired Reflexes 3, and the new system slowed him down a lot. And I didn't
like losing my firearms and having to buy new skills. He was much less
effective. And I'm really worried about what will happen when the cyber
book comes out, since I've heard they will change Bioware.
Overall though, so far I've liked the changes once I got used to them. My
GM explained why he liked the new edition better, and I agreed that it was
more balanced. And our groups mage says that magic is easier too. I like
the game better now than I had before when we were playing second edition.
So I don't think that 3rd edition is doomed, as you say in the subject line
of this. I think it better.
