This may have been changed since the SR2 main book but IIRC spells with a
touch range already have a +1 reach for combat purposes since you only
need to touch your aura to the target's aura, not actually touch them
physically. Assuming the lightsaber would extend to length of the caster's
aura (perhaps a bit farther for the sake of authenticity), I don't see a
problem with the reach.
