Hi all,
On the various UNIX systems I have tried it seems that SETI and RC5 do well together,
both sharing the CPU time equally. However, on Windows systems SETI hogs the CPU time.
RC5 plays nicely in the Windows environment as it should. Therefore, I think one should
be very careful when running SETI on Windows since any other background/system process
seems to suffer when SETI is running.
(Unfortunately the Dead Decker's Society lost two places (now 603) last night. We need
more processing!)
