Well Noc, can't help you with the Sprites, but I can give you some info
on some corp weapons.
First, despite popular opinion, not all corp security forces pack
Alpha Combatguns loaded with APDS and air-burst IPE offensive
minigrenades. Because of the cost of weapons like these, the amount of
training required to use them effectively, and the high chance of
collateral damage, I would have to say that corp security would rarely
pack assault rifles and the like. More often than not, they would be
armed with tasers/stun batons for a non-lethal solutions, or heavy
pistols for a lethal solution.
Now, corporate installations with extremely valuable assets (persons
or objects) may equip their sec forces with SMGs or shotguns or both.
Anything in Shadowrun equivilent to the HK MP-5 series would be
appropriate.
Most likely only in the highest threat type situation would sec
forces be armed with assualt rifles and the like. These guys would be
the corp equivilent to Lone Star's Fast Response Teams.
As for actual weapons, I equip most corp security with Colt
Manhunters for those w/out Smartlinks, and Ares Predators for those
with. The forces needing SMGs usually get the HK 227.
As for the big boys....well, if you're talking Renraku, then you're
probably talking Red Samurai. IIRC, the Street Samurai Catalog says the
the SCK Model 100 is the SMG of choice for those guys. If you are
interested in SK, you might want to visit Eric Johnson's SK web page at:
http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/6958/SSG.htm
He's got lots of info on the SK "Dragons", including the weapons they
use. Almost all the guns have what looks like computer drawn
illustrations, most of them based off of some CP 2020 artwork.
Fantastic page.....with great firearm designs. Eric, if you're reading
this, kudos to you. <Ronin bows>
Hope that answered your question. <:-)
