I think I can also apply for being a GM in general, but just in case:

I had the media hound a team of runners as revenge by a corp they
raided. After they walzed in with guns ablaze I decided that the corp
would make them the story of the week. The other channels were quick
to follow and before they knew it they were on national tv, had their
friends interviewed, lost most of their contacts, lost all their
save houses thanks to news helicopters flying around them, and were
hit by two teams who thought they were "bad for biz".
In the end two runners went abroad, one was killed during some of
the fights (all on TV of course). Mostly thanks to one of them
who couldn't take it any more and sold his story to the media for a
good sum of money, but was killed shortly afterwards because the two
other runners hired a hitman to punish him for blowing their cover.

Evil enough? >:)
