Ta for the welcome :-)
Considering that Lady Jestyr is one of the most respected sr.net.community
people around, which would suggest some confidence in her abilities, trying
to usurp her project would ill-fated at best, and down right unwise at
worst. Besides, I don't actually believe in the benefit of that thing
called competition. Cooperation is a much better way to head, using
individual patterns to strive towards collective goals. [snigger].
I'd only write an Australiasian Sourcebook as an alternative to the current
one, as it is quite likely that my ideas are no better or worse just high
different. And you want to give gamers a choice?
Furthermore, I hardly have the time on my plate to dedicated myself (and
just myself) to such a monumental task. I'd would've liked to have done it
as a more open source/open content style project, because they work very
well (witness Unix/Linux) - and while they require time to administrate,
they're not as all consuming as writing many words.
Perhaps I could just work on the South Pacific? Though I was planning to
have that quite integrated with the history of Australia, and NZ, as that
would seem a logical projection :-)
Hmm. Maybe an Antartica netbook?
