There is the possibility of allowing the SOTA curve to apply to rigger
technology, which, according to the old SRComp, could be divided into three
areas basically. The first being vehicles themselves, the second area being
vehicular electronics (sensors and the like), and the third and final area
being rigger personal technology (control decks, vcrs, carp like that).
However, if you consider the Optempo and Maintenance rules from R2, then you
could consider those being the costs for keeping their vehicles, and partially
themselves also, up to SOTA.
Depends on your pov, and at the same time, just how rich is your campaign in
terms of the amount of cred being handed out to the players and their
character's for performing runs.
