No, but that's not important. What is important is that the GM knows what
the site looks like, or at least has a good enough idea of its layout to
improvise enough that the players can wander around in it.
I have used the layouts of several houses, apartments and hotel rooms that
I've been to or stayed at during adventures. My players had never been
there, but I had clear enough maps in my head to let the players explore
them. For example, they've broken into Mongoose's old apartment and
investigated a crime scene in David Buehrer's house. (FWIW, I've also done
the reverse: used the layout of the apartment of one of my players in an
adventure I wrote up for the NAGEE -- and he didn't even recognize it when
he saw the map!)
