As a native Texan, I'm with Nexx on this one. If you know a little about
Texas now, it should translate easily to SR terms.
One of my favority quirks/points of pride about Texans is the whole Six
Flags thing. The Six Flags over Texas have been:
The Kingdom of Spain
The Kingdom of France (I think it was still a kingdom)
The Kingdom of Mexico
The Republic of Texas
The United States of America, AND
The Confederated States of America
Now in 2060, that becomes what? Nine Flags over Texas?
Because they tried the Republic of Texas again (that one doesn't count), but
they added the UCAS and the CAS, and didn't the Azzies hold part of Texas
for a while? Or was any part of Texas included in the NAN?
I would also make it a point of pride with Texans in 2060 that their land
has been stolen from them. The Texas of 2060 is a much reduced state, and I
would guess it just kills them that other nations now hold their land.
