Interesting, the people I run with and I tend to favor high, to extremely
high (like I made a char with init 22+3D6 and the GM though it was great)
powered campaigns. We don't even do that much combat, its more just knowing
that you don't have to worry about 4 gangers jumping you, or really much
else, that lets us relax and get to serious roleplaying. Mind you, we have
gone up against things that would boggle the mind, and my last character
retired after he became a gibbering maniac from fighting a zombie dragon,
enhanced by blood magic and toxic magic, and protected by a horde of bug
spirits but he retired with close to 150 karma. As a side note, how much
karma would you rate as average for a high powered campaign, and how long do
characters usually last for you guys.
