This still seems like a bit of a gray area since the mods section implies
that you can make the mod internal (and thus permanent) or external (and
removable). But it's not worth thinking too much over, I believe; I don't
see a problem with using SR3 gear as add-ons. The only difference might be
in 'flavour' as Mongoose suggested; the 3rd-party silencer looks like it
was tacked on, the integral scope balances better, etc.

So you're in support of only certain weapons allowing internal
smartlinks. Cool.

Yeah, that's one way to go; I guess that would use the 'Increased FCU'
argument.

Haw. Well, maybe I'll do that. Maybe not; like a little bird told me,
some of the guns don't reverse-engineer so well. :) We'll see. (For
interest's sake, I did do two... Streetline Special: smartlinkable, Walther
Palm Pistol: not.)

Anyway, thanks, Iridios and Mongoose, for your comments. It's good to
get some other opinions.
