My son (7) doesn't seem interested, beyond watching the buildings fall.
Yesterday morning, my daughter (who goes to school later than my son) was up
and kind of watching the news with me. She wanted to know why the buildings
were on fire, so I tried to explain that there are some people who really
don't like our country, and they think that by blowing things up, we'll do
what they want us to. She asked if they know that it's bad to kill people. I
told her that I think they know it is bad. I'm pretty sure that she
understood the basic idea that bad men did something real bad, since she
said that we should shoot a rocket at them.
