McKennit. Why, you may ask? Because Shadowrun isn't all chrome... it
also has mystic and natural elements tied in. I can easily see shamans
and nature spirits dancing to a pseudo-Celtic folk beat, and
McKennit's music works great as background music (I'm not much of an
active listener to her stuff, though). Also, that "Standing Stones" CD
by McCartney might fit the bill as well.
Another strange thing: One time we were listening to Jimmy Buffett
while playing, and somehow it fit the mood perfectly. I don't know
why. Perhaps because we were running on the East Coast at the time
(Boston, natch).
