It's a scary moment when, in a field exercise, you realise you aimed
your rifle and fired half-a-dozen shots into a stranger's chest purely
on instinct. "He's enemy! Kill!" Based on his headgear: Good Guys wear
berets, Bad Guys wear whatever else they feel like.

Okay, it was just 7.62mm blank, but it felt real enough at the time.

Except that we do make quite an effort to keep the football hooligans
from causing trouble. It's not considered acceptable to organise a
running battle between rival football supporters through some city's
streets: and the level of disapproval has gone from indignation to
persecution.

I don't exactly agree with the philosophy, but this I think is spot on.
If you haven't thought through what you do and why you're doing it, you
may find it very hard to explain actions that are later judged to be
unfashionable. "I was just doing what everyone else was doing" or "I was
only doing what I was told to do" are not acceptable defences nowadays.

The Anarchist's Cookbook is a good way to kill yourself or get yourself
arrested. Worth reading for what might be circulating (in usable form)
in the cyberpunk game of your choice, but trying its recipes for real is
not recommended.
