Which goes to show how many illegal firearms there are around and how easy
it could be to get hold of them. Those of us who are law abiding (I am not
implying that anyone on the list isn't by the way.) tend not to think about
it that much (except for the purposes of RPing) but if the law suddenly
forgot you exist what then?
A double barreled shotgun may not have the image of an Ares Predator but
it's effective, a pump action, even if you're limited by law to a three
round maximum load, could also be bought legally, without undue hassle.
There are people out there who can (and will for the right money
(allegedly)) modify it to expand your load. It isn't difficult to open a
shotgun shell and change the shot inside either, getting large shot is more
difficult but maybe fishing weights would suffice, or ball bearings,
suddenly you have a manstopper round. Suddenly you have your basic running
gear.
