I have also been thinking about a system where the utilities act as your
skills in the Matrix. So to sneak into the system roll your Deception. The
GM would have to make up the TNs, though. All the systems are sculpted, so
the GM can describe it just like the decker is acting in the real world.

I was going to use this system for my group, because it seemed more
intuitive, but after we used the Matrix rules a few times, they turned out
to be pretty straight forward so I didn't bother changing them.
