Exactly. Which is why I'm thinking of chucking some of those tests
overboard, like most of the ones needed to even see stuff. That you need to
roll to log onto a host, I can understand -- it's like picking a lock on a
door, after all. But that you need to do things like roll to see whether
there are other deckers or IC inside just makes it too much a dice-rolling
fest -- to stick with the comparison, you don't have to roll to see there's
someone watching the TV in the house whose lock you just picked.

I have a feeling decking will run much more smoothly if it's handled more
like physical actions are. Now all I need to do is keep that in mind while
GMing :)
