Remote turrets should do the trick, I guess, but IIRC all turrets work that
way.

That would be possible, but musta be customized, a box with a door and
EnvirSeal (Gas) with added armour.

Well, if there is a remote control receiver (name escapes me at the moment)
installed, the same hardware to control drones via remote, that is
possible.
