I like the two arms, myself - the original vehicle (from Ghost in the
Shell: Stand Alone Complex) also has an extensible interface cable on
what would be the telescoping arm, and probably an internal cyberdeck as
well (allowing the pilot to deck without leaving the vehicle, tough
decking works a bit different in GitS).
Also, in the series, the minigun could also be replaced by what seems to
be a large rocket-propelled grenade launcher - judging from the size of
the rounds, they'd probably be equivalent to SR mortar rounds. This _is_
a military vehicle, after all :).
