In a shocking turn of events, I'm going to answer this question
straight up, because I'm in a great mood considering how little sleep
I've been getting lately, and I want to clear up some terminology :-)
In your example, the Dice Pool would be six dice; 3 from a skill, 3
from an attribute. If modifiers lowered the Dice Pool to 0 or below,
the character would be allowed to make the test *if* she spent a point
of Edge to do so. She would then make the test using the character's
Edge rating as the Dice Pool.
