Lack of flame wars is good. I happen to be a registered Microsoftian
but I have found in my rather long career of being a developer that the
development environment from NeXT which has now been acquired, etc. by
Apple is the best in the world. Since I am somewhat of a technology
snob I choose to develop in the best. Therefore, Cocoa development is
what I do. If someone (be it Microsoft, Sun, some guy in his garage,
etc.) comes out with something better I will probably do that instead.
Yes, I would love to have the large market share that Microsoft has for
targetting software, but since I give my software away it really does
not matter. I prefer the coolness factor, ease of development, etc.
