Likewise, if you thought I was taking things too seriously, my
apologies.

Interestingly enough, two of the more regular posters on the list that
use a Mac [Gurth and I] are both switchers within the last few years. I
started using the Mac platform in late 2002, bought my first Mac [A 15"
Powerbook -- it gets /all/ the chicks] in late 2003, and got the second
one [2x2GHZ G5] in late 2004. I switched from [mostly] the Windows
platform.

Gurth switched in early 2005, IIRC, after switching from Windows to
Linux a few years before that.

In general, I'm seeing more Mac users on RPG message boards and whatnot.
