I'm not sure about it in this case Gurth, so lets not
muddy the waters with talk of other elemental effects
and other conditions in which the LOS rule for spells
is trumped.

In the particular case (the ball lightning and the vehicle)
the lightning will not manifest inside the vehicle if the
spell caster cannot perceive the inside of the vehicle,
and all the electrical elemental effects will be dealt
with by the vehicle's Faraday Effect...

However, if the caster *can* see inside the vehicle,
then the effects do occur inside, specifically because
it is an AE spell. That's why AE spells are so bloody
expensive in terms of Drain when one tries to build
them.

Anyway, that my 2 nuyen.
