Spot on. I went to SuSE Linux around 2001 because of Windows 98's
crashing habits, and to a Mac in January this year because my previous
computer was a POS whose hardware I couldn't get working properly under
either Linux or Windows :( So I decided to go for one that was (pretty
much) guaranteed to work properly out of the box, but still ran some
kind of Unix. Not many choices left, then, are there? :)
