#OK.
#My previous standpoint was based on personal experience and
#gathered data - this describes things which didn't crop up...
#So allow me to revise my ideas.
#
#Give the vehicle a crash test when it is subjected to any
#Elemental manipulation - success indicates no real damage to
#the vehicle, failure indicates minor damage to systems and/or
#tyres and if the number of ones outweigh the number of
#successes regardless of pass or fail then apply major damage
#to the systems, tyres...etc and require another crash test -
#this time to avoid actually crashing.
#
I don't think a crash test would work quite right. After all, you're making
a test based on the skill of the driver to avoid the damage? How's the skill
of the driver affect direct electrical damage to the car's systems?
