Well, you know there *are* contract labourer laws, and if you didn't have a
volunteer agreement - if there was anything even remotely resembling a
"you'll get paid if you do x work for us" statement, you can sue the
asset-holders for back-royalties. Not saying this to make trouble, but I
hate to see people get stiffed for their work. Either you did it for free,
and it should remain free, or you did it to get paid, and should get paid.

It got complicated. I did a lot of work on the project, and so did a few
other people, I actually did not expect money from that project. Then the
line editor changed, and the new guy wanted major changes and it done asap,
so we decided Laurie would do the final rewrite. But a lot of mu concepts,
including Hestaby, made it into the final cut.
