These don't even have to be that magical. Instead of "military
icebreaker", uncovering the password of a legitimate user serves the
same story purpose: access to a specific system without effort. You
can also enforce a time limit in various ways, saying passwords on
that system are reset every week of whatever. The closest SR ever
came to this is in the fiction in SR1, when Dodger says something
like "my magic key expires at midnight". He didn't have some magic
totem or military icebreaker. He just had some information and knew
what to do with it.
