>>>>>[Thank you for the information but I already knew that. I thank you
the extra time but you could have explained yourself quite a bit better for
you went off, seemingly, half-cocked on some hair brained idea. I respect your
abilities, power, and control over magics but, unlike current day users of
magic, you did not, as far as I can tell, EARN that power. From all of the
research that I have done it is inherent to your very nature. Because of
that you need to be more careful when and where you use it.

I have been in contact with the others. I think we will be able to pull
this off, assuming nothing goes wrong -- like someone interfering where they
arent wanted.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Kor, you ALSO have abilities inherent in your nature; and like
had to learn how to use those abilities. Besides, I shouldn't need to
explain DID NOT tell me this information in the first place, NOR
that you already knew this information...should you have done so...then none
of this would have come to pass.

You are still a child; but you do show promise; your greatest weakness is in
your overconfidence. I serve the world not myself as many of my kind choose
to do so...I objected to a proposal to gain control over the world, and then
remained neutral for I knew that the sides involved would not be able to win.
I knew that either both sides would be decimated or would be forced into a
truce. As it turned out I was right, and they were wrong...and many
beautiful and glorious things were destroyed...all in the name of power.
This still rancles in me although many centuries have passed...ask Lung or
Lofwyr about this...and see what they have to say. They all tend to work for
their own self-centered goals.

I do not kill unless necessary...I knew the risks involved in my action for
Teutone...and I decided to gauge Brimstone's strength before attacking him.
I determined it was in the best interests of all to do what I did. I do not
apologize for it; but I do feel saddened by your attitude.]<<<<<

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
